PADI Altitude Diver Course

padi-altitude-diver.jpg

What does altitude diving mean?  When you're diving at 1000 to 10,000 feet above sea level (300 to 3000 metres), you're altitude diving.  Mountain and glacial lakes are a good example.

Being an altitude diver opens up a vast array of dive sites previously unavailable to you.  In this course, you'll learn the effects of pressure at higher altitudes and how to adjust your dive plan accordingly.  Whether you use a recreational dive planner table (RDP), an electronic eRDPml or a dive computer, you’ll learn how to plan and make a dive safely at high altitudes.

*Ocean Legends owner and PADI MI Darren Fox is available to conduct this training at high altitude locations of your choosing.  Fees for travel and lodging not included in course fee.
